    Owl is killing me.
I am in rung one and my cravings have been out of control since I upped my 5g. Is this possibly in my head? I am eating NO new veggies, just an extra 5g worth. Any advice?

cut them out and see what happens.

if your cravings go away then add back a very low GI one like dark leaf veggie of your choice for 3 days and see what happens.

I know figuring out celery was triggering my cravings took me a couple months to realize

you have having fats with them right?

What veggies did you add? Some veggies can affect different people. For example, I cannot eat any combination of eggplant and tomatoes because it triggers my over-eating.

So, review your menu. See if there is a specific vegetable that triggered your cravings. If you can't pinpoint when the cravings began, remove the vegetables and try them out in 5 net carb increments, one at a time, taking note of any blood sugar instability (see the chart in Chapter 12, DANDR 2002).

Also, take a look at whatever else you are eating. If you have been using salad dressing or mayonnaise, make sure you are using the same amounts. If you've increased the salad dressing, depending what's in it, it might possibly trigger cravings, etc.
