  • Owl Menu?

Is there somewhere I can see an example of a menu for each rung of OWL?

    Thanks

In a nutshell, 'no' there isn't because OWL is a very individualized phase of the diet. During OWL, you learn how different foods affect your body/weight loss. So what one person can eat, might not be what another person can eat.

The closest thing we have in the forum to a "menu" is in the sticky about eating veggies during OWL. But again, that's an only example menu because I cobbled together by looking at the Induction Acceptable Foods list and a carb counter.

Ok I was just interested to see how eating habits change and what I may be able to look forward to.

      Thanks

Great question Cherrycoke! You really get to find out what you can and/or can't eat in OWL. I can't eat mushrooms, cucumber, pork rinds. They all cause cravings. I am on Rung 2 Dairy, and I have added cottage cheese and lowcarb yogurt and have had no problems and am still losing weight and inches. Do not fear OWL!! LOL
What would we do without it?

        Mini-goal- 149 by June 1st. I can do it!!!

Frankenfoods- Low Carb Shakes, Bars, Candies.
Sugar Alcohols= Weight loss stalls and cravings!!
        These are BAD for us!!!!

Eating habits change quite a bit (for me at least). You become more aware of making the 'better' food choice and 'normal' portion sizes. You also become more aware of how you body reacts to different foods. Sunflower girl can't eat mushrooms and cucumbers because they trigger cravings. I can't eat cantaloupe and any food that combines eggplant with tomato for the same reason.
