Are whooshie pies possibly high in calories? Earlier this week I was 164.2...now I am 166.8!

I've been having a slice of whooshi pie with my lunch every day (it's very filling)...the slice at the outermost part is 3 or 3.5 inches. Wasn't cheating except one night (ate peanut butter literally while half asleep...don't ask )

Perhaps I should go back to things I can measure on Fitday. This stalling and gaining afterward is a bit discouraging.

What's your daily net carbs like? It could be you are over your CCLL.

It's especially important during OWL to keep track of all the foods you eat. I suggest to even to as far as documenting the brands you eat because in my experience, different brands can have different effects.

In addition to the 3 cups of veggies, I added about 10-12 pistachios a day Mon, Tues, Wed. Then I started gaining so I stopped. Could it be my CCLL is really low?

Have you been taking measurements? I used to have weeks where I would gain muscell mass from working out, so the scale would rise while I dropped sizes. I've heard you gain muscell even not working out n atkins because of the protein increase.

I'm just curious, if anyone knows... is so much horseradish healthy? I know the body's designed to hold onto at least a little bit of water.

you can log your whooshie pie as a custom food on fitday. advance your fitday calander one day and log all the ingredients in your pie. them input the totals as a custom food called whoshie pie then you can see how much of what is in your servings.

pistachios are a higher carb nut. since you added them and stopped losing there is where you should look. if you weight and/or inches don't go down follow the OWL rules and drop your net carbs back 5 net for a week or two and see what happens if you change downward then you know you have found your CCLL.

reread your DANDR chapter 14 so you understand OWl better.

Also, if pistachios were the only thing you added, you might want to drop them, wait a few days and see what happens. It could be a reaction to the pistachios.

If you start losing weight again, start on Rung 1 and see if the addition of 5 net carbs of the Induction veggies messes you up.

Well...I reduced my carbs to 20 or slightly below...and I lost a pound (166.8 -->165.6) since yesterday. So it appears I had exceeded my ACE! Sheesh I must have a really low carb tolerance

STay at that level for a couple more days. Then add 5 net carbs of whatever Induction veggies you've been eating. follow the OWL rules and see what happens.

Nuts are notorious stallers or slowers. So the problem might be the nut rather than the carb level.

I've read lately that Ambien causes "sleep eating" -- are you possibly on that sleep medication?
