Fitday question??

  • Fitday question??

    Hi, I went to Fitday to enter my breakfast this morning and the first thing I put in was 1 cup of cucumber and it put me at 66% for carbs, I know that can't be right but is anyone else having this problem?

    How many calories did you add? I think as you add in additional food/calories that number will change

      Unless you're eating every meal at the perfect ratio then your percentages will be a little off until you balance out. What else have you eaten?

        The only thing I've eaten today is 1 cup of cucumber slices that's all I put in to Fitday nothing else. I've been really sick and haven't been all that hungry so I'm trying to eat small meals today if I can.

          Completely agree. If I ate a hardboiled egg this orning, my fitday would say I've eaten 75% fat. However, if I eat some carb with it, the fat % and the carb % would decrease slightly and increase slightly.

            I went back and added in an egg and cheese and it took the carb percentage down, gosh I feel stupid... Here's another question??? I've had Bronchitis for 4 days now and the past two days I've only eaten once during the day because I'm just not hungry, it this going to hurt me in the long run?

              Well, what it does to my understanding is it causes your blood sugar to spike, even though you aren't eating sugary foods. When you let alot of time pass between meals, your levels will dip and peak and this adds to cravings as well. Maybe try a piece of cheese or an egg, something small until you eat a meal. Also don't forget to eat your veggies with fat, such as drizzling the cucumbers with oil.
