I was at Sam's Club today shopping and my husband wanted me to pick him up some of this really good nacho cheese sauce (He can eat as much as he wants and never gains a pound, I swear he's lucky) and I checked out the nutrition label to see if it is Adkin's friendly. It contains no sugar and has 5 carbs per 1/4 cup can I have that every once in a while? (Minus the chips)

You need to make sure the ingredients in it are right for the rung you're on. Those carbs come from some milk sugars, some peppers, some starchy fillers. Processed stuff tends to have something called modified food starch, and I'm not sure you EVER get to that rung LOL, because I don't really know what it is!
Sticking to whole foods always the best option

I was going to say that most of the time those cheese sauces are a white gravy with food coloring and food flavorings added to it to make it taste like cheese. Same goes for cheese sauces on veggies a lot of the time. Be VERY leery of them.~Joy
