It's been about a week since I last posted and I just wanted to say hi to everyone. I haven't abandoned this place, it's just that another site I admin in is going through a major revamp and they needed me there.

I have been doing awesome with my Atkins program. I've managed to drop another 4 pounds, bringing my total lost to 22. I'm now 241, which for me is a huge deal. I haven't been this thin in like 2 years now. I've consistantly held 260 and over for a while, and the way I was headed was to 300town.

I'm trying to get in all my water. I manage 64 oz a day. For some reason I can't get in more than that. It's just too much for me. All in all, my energy is through the roof. I just played a game of hopscotch with my kids yesterday and I used to just draw them the game on the ground before and watch. I played 6 games with them and even though my legs are killing me, I actually managed to get through the games and enjoy playing with them. That's a biggy for me.

Anyway, I just wanted to let you all know that I'm here and still a big loser. hahaha.

      Good for you!

How's your rung cling going? Have you experienced any problem foods?

YES!! lol. I cannot eat carrots. I tried them and about an hour after dinner I wanted to rip apart the fridge.

I increased my water that night and went to bed early. The next day I felt better, but man--no more carrots for me. lol. Other than that, it's been slow going. I'm trying to get new veggies in little by little, that way I know if they are alright or not.

I swear, it's a lot like how you feed a baby and intro them to new foods then watch for a reaction!

              Re: Checking in

Really? In the atkins book, they are listed as a moderation veggie in rung one????

              I thought that meant they could be eaten--in moderation....hahahaha. I suppose that's why I couldn't take them.

And thanks so much Seshena. I think we did start the same time, although you at a lower weight than me. Isn't this WOE amazing?? I really love it and I'm loving the new me emerging.
