  • July 2006 FORUM ROLL CALL!!!!!!!!

    Okay you OWLers and Pre-Maintainers!

    I know you guys are lurking and not posting.

    So, who's still around? Who's moved onto Maintenance without telling us?

    Come on, I want updates!

    I'll start with me.....

    Still on OWL, still losing inches. Yesterday I was able to fit into a size 10 blouse, but the fabric was stretchy. So I tried on a less stretchy size 10---it was alittle too tight still. Oh well, maybe in a couple more months!

    To all the ladies worried about losing their bust size---it hasn't happened to me yet. I'm still the same cup-size I was when I started. I hope something happens soon.

    I'm owl'ing. I'd say I'm on nuts. Slowed down alot, but still losing a little at a time,

      Stillh ere. Still on owl. Im LOVING the berry rung and its loving me! Im at41.5 pounds gone as of this morning and I love OWL way more then induction and Im doing good!

        Still losing, trying to hit that halfway mark!

        Still holding off buying those size 40 pants until I hit the 50 pound mark.

        Although, my wife keeps laughing about how baggy my size 46's are now!!

        I tell her Keep Laughing Baby! Thank You!

        People are noticing as I walk down the hall. So....I guess my butt is smaller!!

        Needs to be smaller still!!!

          Hey there, I'm on the berry rung still and have been there for about a month now. I'm still losing but really slowly, I actually went shopping for new clothes this past weekend and have dropped almost 2 pant sizes!

                I always get confused with people's signature's unless they have them marked SW/CW/GW with the numbers directly under it.

                  I'm on fruits rung, still losing and I'm so close to onderland I can taste it! Inches have FINALLY started moving in my huge legs, so that made me very happy!

                    Still in OWL. I've been on the wine/spirits rung for a while, mainly because I like my occasional glass of wine or low carb beer.

                    I think I discovered two foods that were stalling me that hadn't before (cheese, yogurt) and I've been losing weight a bit more regularly in the past month (about a pound a week, which is alot more than before for me).

                    Or I could just leading up to another long "stall", which I seem to have often.

                    I am now measuring finally so that I can properly gauge if I'm really stalling or not. I could tell by pictures, however, that I had been losing inches in this last long stall.

                    I'm hoping to post updated pictures again soon, especially since I got new glasses. Now I just need to find/buy clothes that aren't baggy! Such a hardship.

                    Goal #1: 247 - 2nd 10% (59lbs, 247, also 100 lbs total loss) - Met 1/4/10!!!

                      I'm still on OWL, have gone through all the rungs (I was eager to experiment). I'm tolerating all foods fine (no trigger foods or stallers), and have been losing weight at higher carbs than I ever thought I could... I lose weight easily even with 65g a day, and I've even had some days when I've eaten over 100g. No true weight loss stalls this entire time... funny thing is my weight loss seems to have picked up now that I've gone through the rungs, especially since I've been mindful of true hunger versus "head hunger."

                      Still exercising (it's more fun than ever) and still drinking my water!

                      Gotten to a point (230ish) where I kinda like my body and am happy with my physical self; I know that the journey from here to goal will be beyond wonderful.

                      I feel more in control of my health all the time.
                      No stats. Not weighing anymore ever. Will post "before and after" pictures when I want to. The end.

                          Ive been on the legumes rung for like EVER! I am contemplating moving up (I was thinking about moving down, but I know it's nuts causing me problems so now I am thinking of moving up) another one... I found that I cannot eat ANY nuts at ALL! THey spark mega cravings. I end up eating way too many and then binge on thousands of carb calories. It seems as if I only have a cheat AFTER ive eaten nuts. So no more nuts for me AT ALL (unless im in a pinch of course

                              I'm on pre maintenance phase, I'm still playing a bit with the rungs (I'm fighting yeasties). I couldn't tell you my EXACT critical # of carbs, but I know my portions and keep a journal so I could just enter it into fitday and find it if need be. I'm sensitive to sugar, caffeine, alcohol, most nuts I find addicting so I keep all these at moderation.
                              I'm finding that my second time around on Atkins is much better for me learning curb wise. I'm trying alot more things, and having an open mind about foods. I've pretty much reached my goal of 120 lbs, but still have alot of toning to do. I'm going more by how my clothes fit me, and how I look vrs. my weight #. I'm currently a size 3 bottom, and s/xs tops.
