Re: Is This True???
I have stalled for 6-8 weeks at a time, a few times, a bit longer. I do believe that these stalls were for a couple reasons: a) food I thought was ok or didn't stall me before was now stalling me b) exercise change/lifting weights/building muscle c) change in medication d) needing to change up my menu somewhat, going up or down in OWL a bit
Don't totally panic if you go 2-3 weeks without any loss. Don't do anything drastic but closely watch what you are eating for common stallers - caffeine, cheese, nuts, sweeteners. Cheese wasn't bothering me for the longest time, but after another long stall, I took it out and began losing regularly again. This is why tracking food in fitday is very important - you can see what you are eating regularly and tune things/change things up a bit.
Something else I have noticed during these stalls is that I am sometimes losing inches where I can't exactly measure. i.e. my fatty pockets on my knees, my feet, my face, down my back or back of my thighs. Taking pictures can help with this sometime. I did around my last "stall" and was amazed at the difference, even though my inches and weight had hardly changed.
Stay strong! This works, just needs some patience and tuning here and there!

I am going to take a look at what I've been eating and see where I might be going wrong. I have been eating onions a lot lately so that might be what's causing this stall. I cut down to 30 carbs instead of the 40 I have been consuming so hopefully something happens and soon!
