  • Yay!

So Ive been losing SLOOOOOOOOOOOOOWLY this entire summer. (Im not a warm weather person, I react badly to heat-swelling up, heat exhaustion etc). I bought a pair of size 14 (womans) jeans and khaki pants back in July that didnt fit (i could get them on and that was it) because they were on CLEARANCE for a ridiculous amount. (90$ jeans for 10$, same withthe khakis!!) Well yesterday I thought "wonder how close those are to looking decent enough to wear in public". So I tried them on.

Well folks, the jeans not only fit, but Im wearing them today. I am so freaking happy, I cant even convay how stoked I am.The khakis still arent for public wearing but they arent too far away. I had a goal to get in those khakis by the time I went to a meeting over Halloween and by god, I might just do it!

So how much weight have I lost since I purchased those pants? 5 pounds. yes. FIVE. If Im not the poster child for using a tape measure, I dont know who is! Ive obviously been puttingon muscle and getting more trim (and I can tell).

Im ina size 14. My next wish.... a size 12 by christmas. Im so happy I could cry.

    Yay for you!

Keep following those measurements! I'm definitely not a scale person because I've found it doesn't correlate well for me, at least.

Good for your! it's an awesome feeling isn't it?

I find that jeans and pants, particularily non-strech, are the best indicators of how i'm doing. Nothing feels better than zipping up a pair of jeans/pants that earlier you couldn't..... or could zip up but couldn't breathe in (i speak from experience LOL)

I used to be a scale addict too, and I committed myself to not weighing, so I haven't in about 3 months now (maybe 4?). Problem is now I can't get myself to weigh at all! Now I seem to have a scale phobia, talk about going from one extreme to another!
