Hey guys, I have a question for you, but here is some background first.
OK. So here I am, trying to do Atkins "Right". I am not overweight, and I am pretty sure I have a very low glucose intolerance. I am doing this for health reasons. I feel 100% better eating low-carb (I can't even begin to name all the great things that come with the weight loss). Anyhew, I am hovering around 128lbs right now, my goal is somewhere between 115 and 118 (which is about right for my height - somewhere in the middle of the healthy BMI range), I might just call it around 124, I seem to remember weighing that much once and liking it (it was a few years ago, and it didn't last too long). Mostley I'm just trying to create a new healthy lifestyle here.
So. Should I start at induction and work up all the rungs as per DANDR, or do I start at like Pre-Maitenence (since I have 10lbs or less to lose??). I ask this because I have done induction and tried moving up the rungs properly, but it seems too slow for me. Oh yeah, and on top of it I keep falling off the wagon
, but that's another post altogether. I still plan on keeping track of what I eat, so I can see how different foods affect me, and I wouldn't introduce new foods all at once.
I dunno, maybe I'm just "stuck".
