    Re: When?

    You're already doing rung 1 right ?

You move up when you are ready. Would you like to incorporate some yogurt or cottage cheese into your menu? Then consider moving up. You can always go back to induction or any of the rungs if you find you have a problem.

      Re: When?

As suggested it is a personal choice for each of us.
I stayed on the vegetable rung for several months, adding more servings as I really missed my veggies, so I knew I could have 6 or 7 servings if I wanted to.

Then I moved to dairy where I only stayed a couple of weeks as I never drank or used milk or cottage cheeses (at school dinners years ago I was 'excused custard and milky puddings' because milk made me vomit). I never even could tolerate icecream till I was a teenager!

In fact I nearly missed out dairy completely till someone mentioned yogurt!! Fullfat greek yogurt with berries is to die for!!

I havent bothered with the alcohol rung either as it is not part of my lifestyle!

You can climb right to the top of the OWL ladder and stay there if your CCLL will allow you till you are within 5-10 pounds of goal before you move to premaintenance.

Or if your CCLL is too low to allow that you can drop carbs from some rungs to add some higher rung food carbs to allow more variety of food choices while staying at a lower carb level.
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
Take a look at the thread from the latest Veggie Challenge to see how others manage it!
