Hi everyone, ok quick question, which im sure is asked on here before but here goes, ok i just want to see if i understand this, i have read the book and im currently in rung one and am at 25 a day with extra veggies, now what i want to know can i go up 5 more carbs with more veggies or do i have to stay at 25 with the extra veggie and go up to rung 2 to get that extra 5 if that makes sense, i love veggies and right now that is where i would like to add more of, to see if i can handle it. Right now im losing more inches than weight but i have not stalled so i would love to go up 5 more to 30 and stay there for awhile and then move up to rung 2.

Re: owl question
Hi Lisa! Yes, you can do it that way if you want. You can stay on the veggie rung adding 5 net grams each week (or longer interval) and then later go on to add rung two, then three and so on when you are already at a higher carb level. It's all about how you want to work it out - that's what is so great about owl. I know some people stay on rung one until they find their CCL while others climb the rungs while they add 5 net and others that add a rung without increasing overall carbs. From what I have read, though, I wouldn't recommend keeping your carb level lower than necessary to keep losing because you can actually lower your CCL that way and that's not what we want long term! Hope I explained that in a way that makes sense. If not, I hope someone else will say it more clearly. LOL! You're doing a great job! Keep up the good work!

Re: owl question
I stayed on the veggies rung for several 5 net carbs additions as I love vegetables!Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
Take a look at the thread from the latest Veggie Challenge to see how others manage it!
