    Help....!

I went to the dentist today, and unexpectingly had to get a tooth pulled, since it was unexpected I only ate my eggs for breakfast. I am starving and the doc suggested I eat Ice cream. Well that aint allowed..lol..I need a suggestionon something to eat, because I know my body is going into starvation mode, and I dont want to eat nothing that will take me out of ketosis.

    Re: Help....!

soups are always good, you can cook cauliflower in chicken stock, reserve some fo the stock and blend it in the blender with cream. you can add all sorts of different things to it, roasted red pepper, sauteed mushrooms, diced chicken etc. good way to get your veggies in.

    egg salad or scrambled eggs

1/2 an avocado (good way to get your fat in as well)

if you are on the dairy rung you have soft choices, such as yogurt, ricotta cheese, cottage cheese etc.

If it is bothering you for a few days, you may want to try a protein shake to keep your protein %'s up...

You've gotten some good advice. There is also a thread in the "Low Carb Menues" forum with some more ideas.
