  • Onto OWL question

I have set myself a goal of moving onto OWL when I reach 155lbs, not far now
My friend Fiona has borrowed my book so she can start induction, so I have no way of double checking something.
I want to add nuts and berries back into my diet before extra veg or extra dairy. I vaguely remember this being ok in the book as they added good vitamins for few carbs.
Can anyone confirm that for me please?

    Thanks

    Judy

    Re: Onto OWL question

    Here's the OWL Carb ladder:
    http://www.atkinsdietbulletinboard.c...ead.php?t=5516

There are more stickies at the top of the forum about how to do OWL.

It's up to you how you want to do your OWL, but I think you should read the stickies above and/or go to your public library and borrow the book to re-read the OWL chapters. I can say that nuts and fruits are among the worst 'problem' foods for many OWLers, in terms of portion control issues and weight loss issues.

Also an extra 5 net carbs of the Induction vegetables also provide many vitamins and minerals. It all depends what veggies you choose to eat.

So read the stickies above and re-read the book, before making any decisions.
