Does anyone realize how hard it is to get 25 NET carbs on OWL?
    Geez.
I feel like I've been eating vegetables all day and I still only have 13 net carbs.
I read the stickies and there are some ideas but for me getting those extra carbs is hard.
Has anyone else had that problem?
Also my weight loss had halted it seems.
I'm keeping track of everything on fit day.
I'm at the end of my 3rd week. No weight loss since the first week on induction.

It's not that hard, experiment with some higher carb veggies than you're currently eating, like the squash and everything, they add up if you eat one at every meal, along with your regular foods... but yes, I have had the issue...

As to your weight loss, why don't you post a couple days of menus in the "review my menu" forum where lots of folks can give you input as to if you need help, or there are hidden carbs, etc. Also, make sure you're drinking your water to help flush out your system. Are you taking measurements??

No not taking measurements. My clothes are a little looser but no change in over a week.
I'm not stopping. I'm going to keep on going because I'm hoping all of a sudden I'll drop the pounds.
I'm a Massage Therapist so I work my butt off and then come home and run around all the time with so many things to do so I have no idea why my weight is so hard to get off. Must be my age because lazy I am not. I'm loaded with energy.

How many carbs were you consuming in induction? if you were eating 15g's, then you should add 5g's making it 20...you would not add enough carbs to bring you up to 25 unless you were already at 20g's. You should be adding carbs in 5g' incremements.

Once you get past the veggie rung it will get easier. I'm not a big veggie eater so i also had a problem, but I love pumpkin and it's fairly high carb so i used it (i never ate it much in induction)

One way to add veggie carbs easily is to make sauces with them to accompany meats. Sliced bell peppers or mushrooms cook down to a much smaller quantity if sauteed in butter, and are nice on served on top of grilled chicken breast.

Or add cooked tomatoes or onions to dishes - they will cook down to a couple of spoonfuls and add your 5 net carbs easily.
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?

Wow, when you said you were a massage therapist and then ran around afterwards I had to double check your siggie to make sure you weren't my mom!

Are you counting the carbs of everything you eat during the day or are you only counting the vegetable carbs? Things like cheese, cream, eggs, coffee, tea, etc. have carbs and those carbs are counted towards the daily carb total.
