  • need advice pls

    i was in extended induction until i stalled for 2 weeks so i decided to go into owl ...i was on 15 carbs net.
    so on one day i added green beans (1/2 cup) and after 2 days a tomato ..Green beans i 've eaten the first time since starting...
    today i got on the balance i gained a pound.
    HELP!

    Did your measurements change too?

    Have you been eating tomatoes since beginning?
    If tomatoes and green beans are 'new' to you, then there are major 3 possibilities to this extra pound 1. you're retaining water weight, 2. one or both 'new' vegetables are interferring with your weight loss, 3. you have added too many carbs.

    IF you are retaining water, there's not much you can do about it, but wait until your body releases that pound of water.

    IF the vegetables are affecting you, you need to drop the "new" food and see if your weight loss resumes. This is alot easier if you only added one "new" food, because you just drop it from your menu and see what happens. If you've added 2 'new' foods, then you still drop it from you menu, but you'll have to add them one at a time and see if the vegetables are the culprit. For example, you drop the beans and tomatoes for a week. You add green beans the following week and see what happens. The next week, you add tomatoes and see what happens.

    If you've added too many carbs, you'll have to review your menu and your measuring technique to make sure you haven't been over measuring your foods---all of them including the non-OWL foods you eat. Then you need to add the 5 net carbs and see what happens.

        Keep your carbs at Rung 1 levels and drop the beans from your menu. And see what happens with your pounds and inches.
