Arrgh..im feeling frustrated today! Last week i was down to 274, even by my Drs scale. Things have been going swimmingly..slow but steady. Saturday the kids and I were sick with bad colds so we did nothing all day but watch movies. I didnt get my exercise in..and I didnt drink all my water that day (only had haf)..but my eating was the same..havent cheated at all. Although i did have two bites of a frozen low carb cheesecake..it was disgusting (splenda tastes bitter to me) so i threw it out. On Sunday, I was up 3 lbs (4 by the end of the day). I weighed my kids to make sure the scale wasnt off..lol But it was fine.
Drank more water on Sunday..and today (mon) im 276. Is this normal weight fluctuations? Its just frustrating because I feel like Im trying soo hard..every day is a struggle..especially when the kids and hubby are eating ice cream and pasta and crap and im sticking to my meal plan. I didnt expect it to go down every day..but certainly not go up! Should i just avoid the scale? BTW, im still in ketosis according to the strips. Does this happen to anyone else? I dont want to lose my motivation.

but have stopped panicking about it now - I know I am being 'good' hmm apart from maybe a bit too much cream on my rhubarb
but you should find the truth in your clothes - obviously not day to day but as weeks go by - don't forget you didn't put the weight on in a few weeks - it prob took a good few months and will take the same to come back down! - The slower it comes off - the more likely you will keep it off as well!
