    okay - bad day - 5 weeks in - have lost 12 lbs - the same 12lbs that I lost in the first 2 weeks!

    Today I had the most Horrendous headache and was at work and ended up grazing on yoghurt coated fruit , nut and cereal nibbles! and yes they do contain sugar!

    thing is I want to move out of induction - hoping that I might lose some more weight - but after todays faux pas do I need to do 2 clean weeks again or can I start off on the first rung - more veggies - I am a bit disappointed with myself and do wish I had lost more by now. I am getting bored and just keep thinking - hmm maybe just a taste................

    Of course my hubby totally blames my headache on Atkins - which is so unfair! He is not quite as supportive as I would like - but that is prob my fault as I have a history of being a yo yo dieter.

    oh why did I eat thos damn yoghurt things (They were yummy)

    Maybe your body was telling you you need to eat more... I think the expert are going to tell you to wipe the slate clean and go on to Rung 1.. eat more carbs...

    Headaches can come from anything.. Don't let hubbies comment bother you

      I would suggest starting to add your 5 net carbs of induction veggies now rather than staying on induction for longer.

      Just watch out for cravings and make sure you have enough legal snacks ready

        Have to confess that after yesterday I was of a mind to just go to the indian restaurant last night and have a glass of wine with my meal - but you lot stopped me!! and anyway the waiter is used to my strange eating habits that he just brings me a jug of water now!

        I went shopping today and got some snacks! I bought crab sticks thinking they would be good - trouble is they have 2 carbs per stick!! dunno why but I just assumed they would be carb free - like fish and meat!? ah well my son will eat them.

        I have also decided that I must fill in my Fitday diary to keep a check on what I eat! trouble is - first day of an extra 5 carbs - have eaten all I really want and have only got to 16 net carbs!! gonna have to look at that - perhaps one more tomato!

        By the way - the ketostix def showed me the results of yesterdays indiscretion!

          Def move on to OWL. I don't even have that much to lose and I lost 2 lbs this week and am on the Berry Rung now. I eat nuts, strawberries in heavy whipped cream (totally decadent) bacon and eggs for breakfast, salad with ranch and feta cheese for lunch, marinated grilled chicken and green beans for dinner...or tacos in the cheese shell with lots of lettuce and sour cream on top!! OWL has not slowed me down and the even better part is I feel like I'm eating so "bad" yet I'm not! AND I felt like I was dying the first two weeks. I never got that burst of energy after the first few days and had a killer headache....just felt awful. After I added in a few more carbs I felt WAY better and am getting my energy back.
