As a second-timer, I'm not finished induction yet. But, I know that last time I was on the plan I stayed on induction the whole time. In fact I think this is part of the reason I fell off the wagon. Does OWL change your weight loss dramatically?

Re: Scared to move on..
Well, everyone is different. But I can tell you that my rate of weight loss has increased so far. I am now on Rung 2 and eating 32-35 net carbs a day.
And as Julirama723 has told many, she lost about 25 pounds on induction/extended induction, and has lost over 50 on OWL. I love that statistic!
I am a second timer, too. (See my stats in my siggie) I didn't go through the rungs properly the first time. I am going by the book this time, and I couldn't be happier!
Good Luck to you!

Re: Scared to move on..
I moved on to extended induction because I still had lots of weight to lose. But I actually hit a plateau and gained and lost the same 5 lbs for 4 weeks. So I moved into OWL. The weight started coming off again and I am MUCH happier with my food options! Don't be afraid to move into OWL. You will be less likely to fall off the wagon and much more satisfied!
