  • I Cheated

I am ashamed to say that today I cheated. I was already in rung 1 and getting ready for 2 and I messed up. I had sushi with my husband and some friends. The crazy part is that I was not craving it; it was more of a social thing. I feel super mad because it feels better to have your tummy flat and feel great about myself than the way I feel now.

What do I do now? Do I start induction again? How can I clean my body?

well. If you kicked yourself out of ketosis you might want to do 3 days of induction, then pick it up where you left it... drink tons of water and increase fat to get into lipolysis faster. Easy on the protein.. And forgive yourself. Don't let it throw the success you obtained to this point .. keep us posted when your in ketosis again to see how you're doing.

        Hiya,

        I wouldn't start induction again.
Just jump right back on where you were on rung one. Drink mega buckets of water and try and do a little extra exercise.
It's not a shooting offence and there are plenty of us out here that have slip ups so don't go guilting yourself too badly!!
I'm not a fan of sushi or an expert on it but I thought it was just raw fish, seaweed and a little rice? Lolol scuse my ignorance if there is a lot more to it.
I doubt it has damaged things for you. I mean compared to maccy d's, pizzas etc....sushi probably is the better sin.

Don't worry now. Back on the bike and keep peddling!

No need to start Induction over again, unless you completely fell out of ketosis. And in that case, you only have to drop to Induction level carbs for a few days until you get back into ketosis. Once that happens, you pick up where you left off.

If you had 1 bad meal or 1 bad snack, then you can just pick up where you left off with your next meal.

The most important thing to do, however, is to figure out what made you fall off the plan. Think about any triggers that might have caused it. Then develop strategies to cope with those triggers for the next time.
