Re: I'm about ready to give up...

I guess I could try giving up dietcoke for a week. I know I sound silly, but I feel like dietcoke is the only thing I enjoy these days But hey, if it gets the weightloss going again it is so worth it.

hang in there! I go for weeks on end with no loss on the scales . I have just had A period of seven weeks with no scale loss and this morning i am down on the scales a bit more ( YAY) persistance and patience pays off! Its hard when the man in your life is losing quicker then you ! my brother is also on atkins and he loses far easier than I do. I can imagine it would be harder to have that man living in the same house as you do.. but in the end when you get to your goal it doesnt matter how long it took you to get there ... as long as you got there!

You know, every time I do Atkins my husband loses tons of weight and doesn't even try... it makes me want to pound him! It really makes it hard to be happy for him when he's not struggling or working out. Just a little bit of suffering might make it easier to cope with. Sigh...what a horrible thing for me to think.

Keep at it! There is really no alternative ... what are you going to do, eat yourself silly and then feel guilty? This is the right thing to do, and the right way to eat. We're really not giving up so much, you know? Refined carbs ... poof, we don't need them. Just love what you're doing and where you're going, and have fun with it. (I finally said goodbye to my scale and am infinitely happer ... )
