So, I still have 4 baking mixes for bread and pizza here from a low carb store.
bought these before I started Atkins and haven't touched them since.
Yesterday I wondered whats actually in that stuff and it looks like they are legal for rung 3 already.
Here is the list of ingredients, please let me know if you think it's OK for me to eat that every now and then:
Gluten
ground Almonds
Pumpkinseeds
Saccharomyces cerevisiae (some kind of yeast as far as I understand)
Eggprotein
Calciumprotein
ground flax
sunflower seeds
different spices (I know these are fine)
Milkprotein
and in 1 mix there is starch but funny enough 100 gr of that product only have 2 net carbs (3.25 with a hidden carb calculator but flax and almonds have a lot of fibre, so it looks about right to me).
Not all of that stuff is in 1 mix, I just listed everything.
so 100 gr of all of these have either 2 or 3 net carbs which sounds real good to me.
what do you guys think?
I'd really love to have some bread when I visit my parents in October, it's what we usually have for dinner, bread with cheese and veggies and salami or ham...you know that kinda stuff.
I already told my parents my food needs to be Atkins friendly as I won't jeopardize my weightloss and they are totally fine with that (they try to eat low carb as well anyway).
