For anyone interested.
I just discovered something interesting, and convenient. They're called Gerber Graduates fruit snacks. They're a fruit snack for toddlers, and are basically 1/2" little cubes of dehydrated fruits with no addititives whatsoever.
On their own they're not so great, but i've been adding them to my oatmeal and yogurt the they rehydrate and and awesome!
They're great if you'd like a bit of banana, apple, pineapple etc, but don't want to buy a whole fruit, bunch of bananas etc. I had the problem when i got to the fruit rung, I didn't eat them enough to justify buying them fresh so i wouldn't.
they come in apple, banana/strawberry, and banana/pineapple. I'm thinking they'd also work well in a muffin recipe or pancakes.
1/4 cup of the banana strawberry (i don't think i even use that much) has 6g of carbs and 1g of fibre.
