I have been very slowly climbing the rungs. I stopped on Rung 3 until after the holiday. I was glad that the nuts (I have had almonds and pecan so far) did not cause any cravings. However, I have noticed my weight loss has went from slow to a barely happening since I left rung 1. At this point I am not sure if it is cause I am 20-30 pounds away from goal or the new additions. Since I am not having cravings and am still losing somewhat, I am leaning towards the fact that I am close to goal. In your experience, should I go back to introduction for a few days or just keep going along. I lose from 1-3 pounds a month now, but I am losing inches as well (not from the good places but my wrists are down like 4 inches now.

Re: traveling up the rungs and weight loss
I usually have between 25-30 net carbs a day. Almost all of my carbs come from veggies. I do not drink coffee or any caffine. I use heavy cream in some of my reciepes, but it is not much and its spread through the whole reciepe. I am not a bacon, egg, or saugage fan so I rarely eat them. I have went back to adding everything in fitday daily, but so far it all looks good.
Excerise is still a daily battle for me. My goal is a 2 mile walk and 30 minutes of pilates every other day. However lately (changing jobs), I have only been completing those maybe 2 times a week. Since my regular routine has flopped, I have been using our soloflex if I can not walk, but not as much as I would like. I do make sure to maximize any chance I have. I part away from entrances, walk around the house instead straight in the room I am going, part a bit down the driveway, etc...
I will be settled in my new job soon and it will involve moving around during the day. Currently, I am at a desk the majority of the day. So I am hoping that will help alot.Female

Re: traveling up the rungs and weight loss
Okay, well i stand by what i said, stay where you are, just don't add anything new!
I take it you've not been having any frankenfoods? bars, shakes, etc
My guess is your body had just got to that comfortable stage, give it a few weeks and it will budge on, we all go through it!HW 303Aug '04 SW-287 LW-232Restart - Apr 07 - SW 266 CW 225

Re: traveling up the rungs and weight loss
thx Emma and Chris.....I weighed this morning and was down a bit...I am going to be actively trying to get my excerise in and watching my carbs closely...I am really enjoying where I am now so I am good with not adding anything new. Its almost TOM time again and I always lose atleast a pound when he leaves so I know I have a loss coming up...lolFemale

Re: traveling up the rungs and weight loss
There's no need to go back to Induction, unless you fell completely off the plan and are completely out of ketosis.
Go through your menues. Make sure you aren't eating anything "new"---including a new brand of whatever foods. Make sure you are measuring your foods properly too. Sometimes folks get a bit sloppy with measuring their foods during OWL.
Keep track of your inches and your pounds. As long as you are losing inches or pounds, you haven't hit a weight loss plateau.
