Low calcium? What am I doing wrong?

I have been entering my meals into Fitday and I am consistently getting low Calcium and Magnesium in my diet.

I take 3 capsules of NSI Low Carb Dieters Multi-Vitamin evrey day, but I guess it may not have enough calcium for my diet. (250mg, 25%).

Magnesium is not bad at all, usually falls from 90% to 95% of the RDA value. Calcium so is around 48-54%.

Do I need to take another calcium capsules for that matter? Shall I increase my dairy intake? I am still at my OWL rung1 and I just don’t want to be a supplement hog here. Anybody experienced such in the past or so?

Here's a link to calcium rich foods.

Adequate nutrition could be your missing link to healthy bones. Discover how food affects osteoporosis & what you can do to maintain strong bones for life!

For someone in Rung 1, you have alot of calcium containing food choices according to that list since you are adding 5 net carbs of any Induction veggie to your Induction menu.

Thanks Meg for the link. I guess Sardines and Salmon would be the best for me at this stage. Broccoli is not my favorite vegie at all and I would need about 6 cups to get the calcium I am missing ..

Thanks again Meg, I will add these today to my diet and see how it is going to work.

Dried basil, thyme, cinnamon, etc all have a good dose of calcium, most costing you only 1 gram of carb (and adding a good shot of fiber to boot), so spice it up a little

            Thanks checklady for the tip.

Dana, I would go for calcium supplements, it is just I checked it in the store and found punch of weired stuff in the ingredients I couldn't even understand... So, I thought I might be better off.
