  • Help!

    Hey guys,
I was just wondering, potion size, fat amount, carb/calorie amount, etc...
    Do I eat okay day-by-day?

    Breakfast:
3 egg white omlette with chicken and cheese (2 carb)
Homemade low carb muffin or a low carb yogurt (4 carb)
    Big glass of water

    Lunch:
2 cups of salad with sliced bell peppers, blue cheese crumbles and dressing (4 carb)
Half a low carb pita with chicken, lettuce, cheese and light mayo (5 carb)
    Big glass of water

    Snack:
    Sugar free jello (2 carb)
Cup of green tea with sugar free whipped cream (1 carb)

    Dinner:
Some sort of marinade on chicken (2-4 carb)
    Vegetables or salad (3-6 carb)
    Big glass of water

So that makes it roughly 30 carbs a day which isn't a ton or anything, i know that however i always feel really full at the end of the day and my stomach gets sort of bloated as if it ate too much.
I don't know why that is, possibly because i've upped my carb count over the past two weeks by about ten?

    Any suggestions?

Because i get this bloating/really full feeling, on days I need to look good in front of someone, like a special night out with my boyfriend or if i'm going shopping with my girlfriends at the mall, I don't eat certain meals because otherwise i feel extra big.

Normally, that's not the case and it's just an average day so i eat what i wrote above i just wish i could eat, and not feel so full/bloated.

Think back to see if that bloated feeling coincided with any food you added.

Also, I think you should open a free account and fitday.com and enter the foods you are eating.

      Re: Help!

I notice that if i have too much dairy i bloat, big time. I think it's a bit of a lactose intolerance thing. I don't cut it out entirely, but i cut way back when i get that feeling.

salt could be another one. but like Meg's said it's probably a good idea to use fitday, and you can go back on days when you were bloated and see what specific foods you ahd that day. then you can try cutting out certain things, like dairy etc for a couple of days and seeing if that helps?
