how did you measure your vegetables during Induction if you don't own a measuring device???

Anyhow, if you go to the Low Carb Cooking Lessons forum, there is a thread there about measuring. It has pics of measuring cups. Go to the store and buy one of those.

And remember, during OWL, you add 5 net carbs of a food to your Induction menu. 1 cup doesn't always equal 5 net carbs. For example, 1/2 cup of pumpkin puree is about 5 net carbs, however 15 cups of lettuce is 5 net carbs.

First you dont need a measuring device really.... I have lost a lot of weight with out using scales and being paranoid about every little tiny ounce. I only asked because I was curious.

When you move to OWL and Pre-Maintenance, you need a measuring device. Otherwise, you'll either over-estimate or underestimate your carbs, which will make OWL and Pre-Maintenance very frustrating. A few carbs over your CCLL and you'll stop losing weight. That might not be too bad, but if you reach your CCML and go over that, you'll start gaining weight eventhough you've "been following Atkins to a tee and haven't really changed anything."
