  • help adding up carbs...

    In a bowl full of chilli con carne, how do you go about working out the total carbs? I have a breakfast bowl full, if that helps??.

    I make a big pot of it for all the family, with one can of chopped Tom's, 2 tbs of Tom puree, onion, Mushrooms, courgette, Kidney Beans, beef stock and mince plus the spices.

    i add up the total of all the ingredients im using and then divide this by the portions im getting out of it.
    Date to reach goal: I don't care, as long as it happens :P

        I go into fitday. Add ALL the ingredients for the whole batch to get the numbers for the entire recipe. Then I divide it into how much I eat in a serving and enter that as a custom food in fitday. Usually I'll put how much my serving was. For instance: 1 serving = 1 cup or 1/8 recipe.
