    My experience is that I can go up and down by a few pounds each day. It is completely normal. We simply don't lose weight in a steady manner each day. I go down and then back up and then down again lower than before. For example yesterday I was 178.6 and today I am 180.2. I don't worry about it because I am eating to plan and the gain is not fat. It could be water or due to the fact that I ate a lot of food yesterday!

    Below is my chart of losses since starting. As you can see I weigh each day and my weight fluctuates. However, the trend is always downwards and that is what matters.

      down a pound a half from yesterday! woo-hoo! i knew it was coming- i always lose in chunks
