I am on rung 1. I lost 6 lbs on my 2 weeks of induction - and am adding 3 times a week 5 net carbs of vegetables - (YAY spaghetti squash and Cauliflower mashed 'potatoes').
I was eating Romaine lettuce every day for my salad, but it doesn't keep well enough (the big bags) even when I put them in zip locks once opened so I have switched to the bags of iceburg with cabbage and carrots. The carrots are pretty large pieces so I pick out most but I don't always get all of them. Do you think these inadvertant carrots will hurt me?
I was hoping I'd do better than 6 lbs on induction, but I had 1 night of 2 glasses of white wine and another night of more than 2 glasses of white wine. I was really planning on having a completely clean induction, but I also need to have this work in the real world for me and I sooooo enjoy my wine now and then. Never alone mind you - but socially for sure - I have cut down my consumption of it DRASTICALLY so I'm just going to keep on as best I can. Tomorrow night is a business dinner - italian food. Was thinking I would skip the wine and maybe try a micholob ultra? I thought of vodka or something but then figured they wouldn't have any kind of diet splenda soda.... Not too worried about the food - will have grilled chicken and salad probably.
