    i've not lost any weight in 3-4 months i'm on the nut rung since october i've not moved up because i stoped losing . Should i restart strict induction? i've lost 70 in 11 months but i still have weight to lose. I'm 170 a 16-18 i'ld love to be a 12-14 by the summer. I'm dead tired of never seeing the scale anymore. Starting to lose faith in myself and Atkins. I need advice from someone who has been doing Atkins at least as long as me or longer "even better" i lost a lot the 1st few months then every now and then after 6 months i'ld lose 3 pounds now NOTHING AT ALL IN MONTHS not even inches.

    -Start weight : 244 2/19/2007
    -Current : 171 12/21/2007

    -goal weight : 140ish-150

    RESTART 4/1/2010 WEIGHT 241 GOAL 150.
    Went totally off atkins now i'm right back where I started in 2007. 75 POUNDS were lost and gained BACK AUGH.

    I wouldn't go back to induction, but i would start climbing back on the rungs to see what it is that is stalling you? Nuts can be a big factor depending on how many you are eating, and dairy can be an issue for many people as well.

    Are you exercising, drinking water etc?

    You might want to post a few menus and maybe someone here might catch something in there that might be the cause

      I agree. Were you eating nuts while you were losing or did you stop when you introduced the nuts? You might want to phase them out for a little while to see how you do. I can eat peanuts but almonds stall me big time. I'm sensitive to dairy so I limit cheese to 1 oz. per day. Hope you find the cause of the stall soon so you can celebrate your smaller size in June.

        I have to agree with sadie. Since we know you aren't intolerant to losing on Atkins, it's almost got to be something in what you are eating (or drinking). Do you use fitday? Can we see some of your menus, including amounts of everything you eat and drink?

          I think it's the nuts i've grown very fond of them. I'm eating 2 ounces every other day or so as a snack. I'm a housekeeper at a nursing home i get a lot of exercise i avarage 13,000 steps in a day i work 5 days a week . I get a total workout high low dusting moping 22 rooms 2 hall ways 3 public rest room cleaned daily + OFFICES. My body just won't get under this 170. I'm going to write eveything i put in my mouth tommorw down i'll post a menu. I stoped losing when i added nuts. I snack on mixed nuts with 50% or less peanuts it has almonds in it. I also started drinking 2 diet rites a day i know i need to cut those i lost better when i was not drinking any soda.

            Sounds like you already have the answer. Lose the nuts and the diet soda. Good Luck.

            1-Atkins WOE/WOL plan works
            2-I need to always work on the behaviors and triggers that make me over eat.
            3-Atkins WOL is part of the puzzle, but is not the entire thing.
            4-Self-deprecation only feeds our inner ego and not in a good way.
