I was supposed to move to OWL last week but when reviewing my fitday I realized I wasnt consistant about writing everything down and the days I did, somedays I did 20 net carb somedays only 11! I didnt know just how many net carbs I needed to be getting as I moved on since I had no average to go by.
So, I decided to stay in induction for another week and religiously document everything (I got a little too comfortable in induction seeing as I have never moved on from it either time I did atkins before). I am going to have to do that once starting OWL anyway so i may as well start now. Also, I needed to try and get an average amount of carbs each day so I would know how many I wanted to end up with on rung one.
Now after one week of getting around the same net carbs everyday (around 18-20, I am ready.
My next issue is the fact that I lost 12 lbs during the first 2 weeks of induction. maybe only 11 and the other lb the following week. However, this makes week 4 now and not a single lb since. I just bounce from a few ounces up to a few ounces down at my current weight.
I am exercising great, joined the 6wec and lovin'it. I am not cheating at all, not going over my cheese limits, in fact somedays I dont even eat cheese, I even cut out all sweeteners. 2 yrs ago when I did atkins it just fell off.
I lost 45 lbs in 4 months. Yeah i know thats not typical but when youve had that kind of success its hard to accept the slower kind. I have always lost really easily (also gained really easily). This time its like I cant loose nothing past my first 2 weeks.
Im just a bit discouraged and kicking myself for getting pregnant last time, lol!!!
I have read all of your stories how moving on to OWL has helped you guys. I hope it does me too.
Starting today!
..wow going backand reading, I see that saying.."boohoo I only los 12 lbs in one month" sounds silly. I should be saying whoo hoo!
I also joined the weigh no way challege that should help too. I have seen no chance in the scale in over two weeks so I cant even bear to look anymore.
