I was reading up on the O.W.L and looked at the rungs. I do not drink alcohol often at all. Maybe once a month. When I get to this phase can I skip it and go on to the next rung or just add an additional 5 carbs and stay with what I'll already be eating?
Also during induction I'm not eating anywhere 20 grams of carbs a day. What carbs I do eat come from vegetables. I also currently am not eating dairy (except cream cheese) because I'm fighting candida. Cheeses are the second rung of the ladder. I know I'm eating roughly 10-15 carbs a day. Its just natural for me I'm able to function during the day... even exercise. When i start this next phase should I keep better track of what carbs I'm taking in? Dr. Atkins mentioned in the DANDR getting a little notebook to keep track maybe I'll do that. I just don't let food rule my life anymore, for me that includes tracking every food I eat. Don't get me wrong I look at the figures. I just don't get so anal about it like I did last time. Last time I became obsessed with what I ate and I took it too far.
Last time I did this way of eating I lost a bunch of weight but I rarely went over 20 grams and I never did the rungs. This time I want to be more successful and stay on this way of eating for life. so I want to have a clear understanding or how to proceed. And for that I need a little guidance. Thanks for the help everyone!
