  • low-carb wraps.

Sorry if you hear this question a lot, but I bought low carb tortilla wraps and low carb ice cream last time I was at the store....is it okay to eat these sometimes (I'm on dairy rung) or should I stay away from them altogether?

You can eat the ice cream on OWL 2 but be mindful of portion size. It can also cause stalls and cravings. You can have the wraps when you are on OWL 9 (grains).

Ah...that's what I was afraid of. I got the low carb wrap thinking 'its only 5 net g...' I slipped and had one yesterday. I hope it doesn't stall me, but i'm waiting to weigh for a long while anyway. thank you

        Re: low-carb wraps.

Try to get into the habit of looking at the ingredients list as well as the nutrition info, as many foods would be fine once you reach the OWL rung that allows for all the ingredients.

If your CCL was not exceeded by eating that wrap, it may not affect your weight loss but the ingredients of that as well as any in the ice cream might cause blood sugar 'spikes' so be aware over the next few days and guard against cravings etc.

Remember - it is not only weightloss that eating the 'wrong' foods can affect - read the blood sugar tests in DANDR to watch out for them when deciding if any additional OWL foods are OK for your body.
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
