    Hi all

    I entering week 7'sh. of this WOE.....am currently on rung one...
    I am getting in at least 20 grams of fiber a day (through vegies and flax and supps), drinking 10+ glasses a day of water, and getting in exercise, and calories have been 800-1400, but am having some issues for you experts to help me with pretty please?

    1.) NO poo...NO matter what I do.....(Lol ohh I"m a poet)
    2.) weight loss in the last 2 weeks has halted
    3.still feel weak
    4.) NOT hungry, thus the low calories some days

    Now I know that too low in calories can be bad..but isnt it really a calorie in verses calories out ratio? OK now be nice...I truly have NO desire to return to any other way of eating...but I needs some help!! :,)

    Only in a sense, you can and should be eating a lot more calories on a low carb diet than a low fat one, and still lose weight. Also it is vital to be sure you are getting enough calories, which you are probably not if you ever go as low as 800. If you get too few your body will just hang on to the weight.

    The key is not just low carbs. It's high fat. You need that fat. As your calories are so much on the low side, I wonder how much fat you are eating? Without them you will feel weak, because fat is now your main energy source.

    It would probably be very helpful if you posted a typical daily menu, in detail, with amounts included, as it may be that people will spot stallers in there.

      Hey Mom - you need to move up the rungs which might help for number of reasons (a) getting more veggies which might help with the blockage -- also I will look at home I have a natural colon cleanse at home that doesn't hurt your tummy.. will find out the name and forward to you. (b) Your probably in a "PAUSE" with weight loss because you haven't moved up the rungs -- sometimes you have to fool the body in order to make it lose -- if it doesn't think your are "dieting" it won't go into starvation mode, (c) your weak because you are exercising and not eating enough carbs and/or calories--- you can get the extra carbs your body needs without sacraficing the calorie intake you just have to research though I think you are eating too little calories as well. (d) if your not hungry try to eat smaller meals more often -- I know this is harder than it sounds especially if you are on the go and have little ones.

      Congratulations on your success and I know you are a lady on a mission But you want to be healthy (and slimmer) when hubby gets home in just a few short weeks!

        Thanks all

        Ok a typical day ( and this varies based on my crazy life! )

        OK breakfast- 2-4 slices of bacon 2 eggs 1/2c veggies -today for example mushrooms, 1 mozz stick in the omelet, 1/2 c spinach in the eggs as well
        16 oz water
        *sometimes a v e r y diluted cup of coffee with 1 T cream
        Vitamin, flax capsule

        lunch ( is very often skipped..not hungry plus 4-5 kids at all times!! :,)

        Dinner... 2-3 cups spinach leaves, 1-2 chicken breast that have been sauted in olive oil, 2T of ranch dressing, 32 oz water

        later...16 oz water maybe a flax danish

          Don't go so long w/out eating. Skipping meals is not a good idea. On a side note, I see you hubby will be back from IRAQ soon. AWESOME!!!!!! Thanks for the job he does.

              Ok so I added cal's and carbs yesterday and I am up 2 lbs today

                Hello mum. I had the same problem. But I found out that a low carb/protein-shake with a teaspoon of flax seed, a huge glass of water and two cups of coffee in the morning does the trick! Too much flaxseed and too litle water has the oppesit effeckt. Dont give up. Good luck!
