  • Skin changes, Facial exercises

    Hi there,
I was wondering has anyone experience any changes in their skin on Atkins.
I have always had super dry skin. I have noticed since starting it seems to be quite normal now.
Also, I used to always have some acne despite my dry skin, but my acne has completely disappeared. I really thought it would get worse now.
    These good changes.
The only thing I am worried about is that perhaps my wrinkles will get worse with volume loss on my face.
    What have your experience been?
Has anyone tried facial exercises? I wish I could move my fat to my face!

I actually had the opposite effect. My skin was normally really oily, until recently. Now it seems to be dry and flaky. I wasn't sure if it was because of the diet or something completely unrelated. That's good it cleared up for you though.

My skin is also perfectly clear, and very moist. Also, my hair is very shiney and healthy.

I'm also worried about the wrinklies, and I have no idea what I'm going to do!

Not really sure there's much you can do for wrinkles except make sure you wear sunscreen religiously (i'm bad for this..i love the sun ), and moisturize though neither will get rid of existing ones it will help with new ones.

I have rosecea and since starting this woe 4 years ago it's pretty much been gone, i've only had about three flare ups, maybe in all that time.

A friend of mine told me recently that my skin looks the best it every has, and she's not the type pass out compliments too often.
