It's certainly okay to use them, but you don't have to. If you can afford them, they are better quality than from caged chickens. I use Amish, truly free range eggs, and there's no comparison to the high-priced, low quality eggs in the stores today. The yolks are almost orange and the whites are firm instead of running all over the pan. The eggs with high omega 3 are fed flax seed meal. It sure is better for the chickens than corn.
