    i did good last year and lost 60 pounds but ever since christmas i have screwed up bigtime havent been on atkins since christmas and gained 10 pounds back. any input on how to jumpstart weight loss again? it is true once you get off atkins its hard to go back to atkins

    Are you still in ketosis? If not, go back to Induction, long enough to get back into ketosis, then pick up your OWL where you left off.

    As for getting back on the wagon, some folks have difficulties doing it. Some don't.

      Don't let conventional wisdom talk you out of finding success again. This is my second time around, and I am losing weight just as fast as before.

      Those in misery want everyone else to stay in misery...

      And for some, this way of eating works slowly and others it works quickly.

        it is going to depend on you and your personality as to how hard it is to restart and stick this time. The best thing to do is forget all about your past success on the plan and approach it like a brand new way of eating. Since you have been off since Xhristmas you might want to do the full 14 days just to get the mental change going on but you can like megs said do a few days to get ketosis going and then move on you already know what type of loser you are so you don't need to get that info and it will not be the same the second time around.
        Don't make the mistake many repeat folk do by thinking well i know I can get back in ketosis tomorrow and start losing again so i will have some of that forbidden food or exceeed my carb limit cause I can make it up another time. Those are the folk who can't get back and keep having to restart. Be strick with yourself and you will become the halthier smaller person you want to be.
