  • OWL vs. Induction question

Hello everyone and thanks for all of your helpful advice! I would not be finishing up my 2nd week without the help of this forum!
I guess my question now is should I stop the induction and enter the OWL phase of the diet? I have around 10 more lbs to loose and I really do not want to slow my loss, but I keep reading how some people actually loose more on OWL? Is this really true? I have a function to go to mid June so I really do not want to slow my loss down to 1-2 pounds a week. What does everyone think? Extended Induction or OWL?
    Thanks for the feedback!

    Re: OWL vs. Induction question

Extending your induction when you have about 10 pounds left to lose might be counterproductive as it would mean that you would not have time to find your CCLL and discover if any foods upset your body before reaching goal.

We see many people posting that they followed induction till reaching goal and then went on to gain back all the lost weight because they had not learned how to add back the other foods we omit on induction.

If you want to be able to maintain your goal weight and learn how you need to eat to stay at goal in the future you do really need to conduct the OWL experiment.

So my suggestion is to start on OWL rung one now.
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?

With 10 pounds left to lose, even if you stay on induction you might not lose even a pound a week. I stalled out because of staying on induction too long. When I added extra veggies, my losses started back up again.
People who say it can't be done, should not interrupt those doing it.

Definitely move onto OWL! Vegetables are our friend and certainly nothing to be afraid of.
