Before Atkins I rarely drank. Maybe a handful of times a year but when I did it was usually spirits. Beer just tastes nasty to me unless it is one of a small handful of micro brewed beers local to the area. I think I would drink one beer a year! So now I am getting ready to go through the alcohol rung and wonder should I still go ahead and have a small serving every other night for the next week and then every night the week after just to make sure it doesn't stall or can I efficiently test it out with just a couple drinks a week.

I am not much of a drinker either. I wouldn't drink more alcohol than you typically would...try a glass of wine, or something like that (a low-carb Mojito is very tasty) a couple times to test out your body.~Joy

I'm not a drinker either. When I did the Alcohol Rung, I used the alcohol in cooking. Granted cooking doesn't remove all the alcohol, so I figured what little amount I ate was good enough to test how my bod reacts to it. (Plus it added an extra layer of flavor to my foods!)
