  • Need some advice about OWl please!

    Hi there! Hope someone can help!
    I have been on OWL for week and a half,to be honest i have not been counting carbs but i know they are similar to Induction.

    Should i really try to count carbs,or has anyone done it without counting!!

    I have lost 9.5lbs so far, however i have not weighed myself and feels as though i have lost more,(people are starting to comment),gets a bit weird when you get thinner.

    I have started to eat some Carrotts;are these allowed?
    I will weigh myself next week. if lost should i move onto next rung?

    As you can probably tell i am very confused.
    Any help will be greatfully appreciated.

    Carrots are not allowed on OWL 1...they are a starchy vegetable. And in OWL it is very important to count your carbs. I recommend reading all the stickies in the OWL forum as they are very helpful.

      I would keep track of my carbs. I love keeping a food journal. It gives me the opportunity to look back through and find the culprit if I stall or feel different. I wouldn't eat carrots on Rung 1. I'm thinking that may be on the potato rung...which is higher up the OWL ladder. I'm not sure if you should move onto the next rung since you've added foods that weren't part of that certain rung. I would suggest doing Rung 1 via DANDR 2002 and then weigh-in at the end of that week. Then move onto Rung 2, etc...
