  • Jump or Climb?

    Here is the background:
I started Atkins in November climbed the OWL ladder and was at Rung 4 (berries). At the end of April I went to visit family and ate with them - off plan. When I came back home mid May I started induction to get back to things.

Now it is time to move up to OWL again and I wonder do I climb as I did before or do I get back to where I was?

I'm not sure, this is a great question. I would assume you would move up the rungs in order once again. Someone will be sure to give you an answer to this question.

I would climb. Since you started over I don't think there's any harm in continueing in the correct order of things. You never know, your body may not react to something the same way it did back when you were on plan. That's just my opinion.

I think since you went back on Induction, as Dr. Atkins said to do, you should go back to where you left off, if you weren't having problems with any of the foods you were eating. As long as you are not having any cravings, everything should be under control. I wouldn't try out any new foods until you are stabalized and losing again.

          Thanks for replying guys.
I have thought about. I did not have any trouble with the foods and was losing (albeit slow). I think I will ease myself back on rung 4 and move from there. I want to find my CCLL before I get too close to my goal weight.
