  • Phase 1B: MAJOR WILLPOWER PHASE

    I can't be alone in this problem:

    Induction sails smoothly along, the weight falls off the first week, slows down the 2nd week and then it just STOPS.... I've read the posts, I know it happens.

    I entered Rung 1 and OWL with all hopes of continuing smoothly...

    BOOM, the truck runs me over - willpower one day goes OUT the window and I have difficulty finding it again.

    Any suggestions????
    Start date: 5/12/08 Totally went off the wagon
    Restart date: 11/10/08
    Currently: Restart Induction
    Stats: HW 216/205.6/170

    Goals:
    M/G #1 - 210 - NOV 13, 08
    M/G #2 - 199
    M/G #3 - 189
    M/G #4 - 179
    M/G #5 - 170

    They say patience is a virtue. Just stay on track and keep exercising. Get excited at each rung of owl for the next set of foods you can add back into your diet. Try new foods. My motivation was I didn't want to gain back the weight I worked so hard to lose. That kept me going, especially looking at my fat pics!

      I had such a wonderful weight loss during induction and then bam...no loss for almost 2 weeks and I was doing the same induction that I had the first two weeks....with exercise daily. It was a very frustrating period.

      The scale started to move in my favor 12 days and while it has slowed to maybe 2 to 3 pounds a week, it is moving! Friday will make 5 weeks for me and I am in OWL now and it is time. I stayed in induction for a month not eating more than 20 carbs a day, etc. I have 7 pounds to go and I will be done!
