i've been on rung 1 for about 2 weeks now.. and for the last 2 days I've actually been drinking soy milk and I haven't gained any weight.. BUT i'm not losing any. I also cheated and had a nectarine and a handful of unsalted almonds. I don't know if that is stopping me from losing any weight?

Stop the soy milk and all the other extras you've added. OWL is the time for experimenting but you have to do it in a controlled way.~Megs~

Hello! Is the soy milk sweetened? If so, the sugar could be stalling you.
(unsweetened) Soy milk - Rung 6
Nuts - Rung 3
Nectarines - Rung 7
I would progress through the rungs the way that they are intended. Of course if you have a nut allergy, you would skip Rung 3, etc... Introducing too many new foods too fast could case weight gain or a stall.

dogatemyname: it is great! =) thanks it was organic and unsweetened but it did have artificial vanilla flavoring. I just drank half a cup.
not2late: yea i'm not eating butt loads of these items so i'm okay. I'm JUST experimenting. i've been on rung 1 for quite a while. my question is WHEN do i move up to the next rung?

You experiment by going up the rungs in the correct order. You are NOT still on rung 1 if you are eating foods on rung 3, 6 and 7. You should follow not2late's advice of doing rung 1 correctly for a few days and then move to rung 2, dairy, and experiment with adding soft cheeses (cottage or ricotta) or yogurt. Then, you can go to rung 3, nuts and seeds.
