  • Medical interruption

I had a minor surgery last week on Friday and was freaked out when I got on the scale Sunday and found I had GAINED weight.

I did cheat in the recovery process -- ate some graham crackers when waking up from anesthesia, and ate a turkey sandwich on rye before going home.

But I have been completely back on track since. I know by the way my clothes fit that I am smaller by inches. My friend says that I probably was so pumped full of glucose (had at least 5 bags) that it was not a true reading.

So, I decided not to weigh myself this week. I'm afraid to. I don't want to find out I gained. Am I too psyched out here? I don't want to get into a mental battle here with the scale.
Oh, I've also not been able to exercise till I get clearance again.

    HELP

    Re: Medical interruption

I think you will be OK it is just a little detour. Just make sure when you get back you are working the rungs properly and add in the exercise gently so you don't injure yourself.
    JILL

    HW 298
    HW (this time) 248
    GOAL ONE 228
    (take 2)
    GOAL TWO 213 (personal goal)
    GOAL THREE 199 ONE-DERLAND
    FINAL GOAL 165

It's not about the results. Its about the process.
