I started Atkins on July 7th and lost 10lbs, then had a hard time leaving the comfort of induction. I finally decided I needed to get going and started adding more vegetables, to the best of my ability, over the last week and a half or so. Well I don't know if I was particularly successful adding vegetables. I was already eating broccoli, cauliflower, green beans, etc.. at dinner, and salad with acceptable vege at lunch many days, eggs with vegetables at breakfast many days. Way more vegetables then I ate before. So I did start buying pumpkin and ate that fairly often over the last week and a half. I decided this week to add dairy because I felt I needed the variety. I had a serving of FAGE tonight, emailed the company last week to find out where it was in my area. I also purchased some cottage cheese, Those are really two of the only items off the top of my head I can think to add. So how long do I stay on each rung. Also I'm not supposed to eat the FAGE everyday, but do I alternate FAGE Mon, cottage cheese tuesday, FAGE wed. etc.. Or day I eat one of the other Mon, Wed, Fri, for example and then eat dairy next week every day. I read through all the stickies, but was still confused. I just don't want to move up to fast, nor too slow.
I also wanted to add, where do I find the percentages my daily diet should be. I loaned my mom my book so... For today it was 61% fat, 25.6% protien, 13.4% carbs. 37 grams of carbs and 8 grams of fiber, (not sure how accurate today's fiber is, I think it's more.)
