  • I feel/look GREAT...BUT

    I lost 5 lbs during induction and then moved on to more veggies. The scale really hasn't moved since - just bounces around. BUT my body is changing. I measure my waist which has gone down 2 inches since starting. I think my legs have changed even more. So my body is totally changing shape - people are commenting on how great I look, I've gotten down to a size 10.

    BUT the scale is still around the same as my 'after-induction' weight! I'm assuming it will eventually and I just have to be patient... but I guess I'm just not a patient person! ) I drink tons of water. I don't do a lot of heavy excercise, mainly walking at this point. Did this happen with anyone else?

    Yes, this is really common. I go in spurts too. Sometimes I will lose inches and no pounds and sometimes its the other way around. You are doing great and are obviously seeing great results so keep with it, you are moving closer to your goal every day

      This is happening to me..... I lost 11 lbs in induction but have only lost 4 since then -- I guess if you average it out it's about 1 lb/week, which I'll take I suppose...... but it's more fun to see the scale move!

      To first MAJOR goal -- we'll see what happens from there, another 20 would be nice

          Don't forget that as women we are blessed with that special time of the month. I think basically you only have the week AFTER your period to check your weight and measurements. You generally start the PMS weight gain and bloating about two weeks before your cycle begins. So, if you're a couple weeks prior to your period, or ON it.... don't even bother with the scales. Just stay on the diet and weigh the week after you finish your period.

            Yeah, that's what I believe I'm going through right now. I can't weigh until tomorrow so I am so scared that I haven't made any progress. I sure hope so. Sometimes I feel like I've gained, and then sometimes it seems like I lose an inch but then it seems as though I've gained. Ugh.

              From the looks of things you are doing GREAT! Don't get discouraged! Keep up the great work... and no matter what the scale says tomorrow... you just pick up and keep right on going. I am rooting for you though.... when you weigh in, let us know how you did!

                Wow - I didn't know the bloaty stuff started that far ahead of of TOM - it makes a lot of sense when I look at what my weight does during the month. And YES, a week after my TOM I always seem to either lose or go back to where I was before the two weeks or so before. Interesting! I'll definitely keep that in mind!

                  Awww thank you! I will be sure to update. I can't wait to step on that scale. I've been exercising along with the abs/squats challenges. I hope that this work pays off!

                    My update is neither a gain or a loss. My weight is the same. I'm hoping that next week I'll see a little drop in weight.

                        I was thrilled to see a slight drop this week. I lost 1/2 pound. I'll take it!!! And this weekend I had more people mention how great I look! Feels great!
