  • I've decided to take the plunge....

    Since being on this diet for 2months I've decide to go on to OWL. So far so good. I've upped my veggies and have not seen any additional weight gain. After two weeks the scale has jumped around from 1-2 pound loss to back at my induction phase weight. Does this mean I can move up to the next ladder??

    PS reason for going on to OWL is in 7 weeks my DH and I are going on a cruise. I thought my "diet" wouldn't be so hard to follow if I could start up the ladder of OWL

    Yeah, spend a week or two on each rung (or more if you want to). add in up to 5 net grams of the new food item 3x a week, or if its something you've had in induction, then you can add it every day. If no probs with cravings, then try it again the second week every day.

      when you are sure you have adjusted to the new carb level and you are sure you don't wish to experiment at this time with any more new to you foods from this rung you can move to the next or you can hang here and add 5 more net carbs. If you get cravings from the new food pump the food immediately if you get cravigns from more then one food in the group you might want to drop back down and see if it was the food, the whole food group or the new net carb level. Same for if your weight loss stops.
