    I'm finding that the smaller the portions I eat are, the more steady my loss. I've started grabbing the smallest "container" I can find...I use cups instead of bowls, bread plates instead of dinner plates.

    It's really helping. I'm very lucky the the company I'm contracting at has a gourmet cafeteria (that is really cheap) with fresh foods, foods cooked to order, whatever you need. Bottled water (18 oz) is .25 (I don't drink out of coolers, you never know WHEN they were cleaned last). They have a grill (bunless burger anyone?), they have fresh and grilled veggies, a salad and deli "bar" that is about 30 feet long. I eat so healthy it's scary...lol.

    But, like I said...I have to make smaller and smaller portions. I find I eat less, but more often. Finally finding my "food rythym".

    Oh, and by the way....(2big will love this) I FINALLY kicked caffiene 100%. I'd like to say I did it by sheer will....but after I had the "hive attack" a few weeks ago and went to the ER...I haven't been able to have any kind of stimulant. They gave me epinepherine...and coming off that was a special kind of ****. I never want to feel "UP" again, from a drug anyway. I don't even desire caffiene anymore. It's great. I never fall asleep at the wrong time anymore either. So...regardless of how it happened....I'm off of it! I drink herbal (caffiene free) tea and water. That's it.

    woo hoo for you :hug kicking that caffiene habit is a biggie.

    Yep portion control is critical to losing weight as we can overeat our Atkins and actually gain weight while being dark purple.

      Good job Leslie on kicking that caffiene. I never thought I could do it either, and it's pretty huge accomplishment. Happy to see you consistently on that losing train again. (I know the destination of it has a full body pic posting, so it's good for everyone. )

        It'll happen, :yes

        I'm actually going to take a "gentle" yoga class when this contract is over. It's 2.5 hours, 3 times per week. It will help with my stress level too. But, yoga is so good for toning and stretching. I need get my cardio back too...I'm thinking about the Urban Rebounding. I like using those rebounders and the tapes look fun. It's supposed to be better on your joints than running, even walking.

          Yep, portion size is key, especially in OWL. You can really get side tracked by the calories if you don't adjust your portions during this phase.
