  • I am so pissed off at this country

    SO...I live in Bangkok and I really love it here..the weather is beautiful, my work is really great and the food is amazing...

    I usually eat lunch at the food court in my office building and i managed to find some Atkins legal options...everything here comes with rice but I ask for without, everything also seems to have sugar in it which I ask them to eliminate from my meals. I thought everything was going great, I had just discovered Larp moo, which is a pork salad from nothern thailand and I made sure to ask them to not put sugar in it. Today however, I happened to chance upon a recipe for it online and it has...........roasted rice powder, ROASTED freakin' RICE POWDER...wth!??!?

    I was in OWL third rung but I had to travel so my diet got a little messed up...so I decided to go back into Induction for 2 weeks before going back on OWL...I restarted last wednesday....but I am so pissed...I don't know if it knocked me out of ketosis or not...I did check my weight this morning and it was up a kilo..but maybe that was just water weight...

    This sucks...boo

    What should I do? SHould I just finish my induction and move into OWL? Please help...

    I would suggest just doing induction till you are back in ketosis then returning to where you were in OWL.
    Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?

      Sawatdee Kaa. I run into the same problems here in Guangzhou. There is a lot of stuff that sneaks into food that you would never even know about. Just chalk it up to something learned and move on. You're doing great and this is just a temporary blip. You will be fine.

        You say you don't know if you are in ketosis or not. So before you run back to Induction, make sure of your ketosis state. If you still are in ketosis, you don't need to go back to Induction. Just carry on with your OWL and be sure to avoid the foods that aren't allowed in your level.
